Free From Eating Out Awards 2016



The FreeFrom Eating Out Awards were launched to raise awareness of the huge opportunities offered by 'freefrom' food within the food service sector now that the new allergen regulations affecting food service have come into force.

The 'FreeFrom Eating Out Awards are run by the same team as the hugely successful FreeFrom Food Awards (now in their ninth year) and the FreeFrom Skincare Awards (now in their fifth year).
All the awards use teams of independent judges to assess the entries – and round winners' logos are a widely recognised mark of excellence amongst allergic, coeliac and 'freefrom' consumers.

Southampton Solent University were awarded bronze in the 2016 FreeFrom Eating Out Awards for their freefrom offers and protocols. The Spark Conference Centre were awarded silver for their good allergen control systems and training as well as for their interesting and varied seasonal menu.
